Purchase Order Requirements

The following are GSP Coatings’ (GSPC) Quality Management System flow down requirements to suppliers:

  • Any requirements for approval of product and services, procedures, processes,
    equipment, and release of products and services
  • Requirements for qualification of personnel
  • Quality Management System requirements if applicable
  • The name and revision status of specifications, requirements, inspection
    instructions, or other technical data
  • Any requirements for test, inspection, verification, use of statistical techniques for product acceptance, and related instructions for acceptance by the organization, and as applicable critical items including key characteristics
  • Requirements for test specimens (e.g. production method, & number, etc.) for
    approval, inspection/verification, investigation or auditing
  • A requirement to notify GSPC of nonconforming products & material and a
    requirement for GSPC to approve nonconforming products & material before
    shipping
  • Requirements for the supplier to notify GSPC of changes to agreed product or
    process, change of suppliers, changes of manufacturing facility location and, where required, obtain GSPC approval
  • Right of access for GSPC, their customers and regulatory authorities to all
    applicable facilities and records
  • Requirements for flow down to sub tier suppliers the applicable requirements of the purchasing documents
  • Supplier will retain all records relative to the deliveries of this P.O. for a minimum of ten years from the fulfillment of this P.O.
  • Supplier has a counterfeit material or part detection process in place
  • GSPC will control and monitor the supplier’s performance
  • Supplier is aware of:
    • Their contribution to product or service conformity
    • Their contribution to product safety
    • The importance of ethical behavior
